Description
Where the chosen design direction allows: callout/admonition blocks, [[wikilink]]-styled internal links, tag pills. Stretch: a graph-view-style visual of note connections. These reinforce the developer/Gestalt aesthetic but defer to the design study if they clash.
Depends on: Notes collection, design study outcome.
Acceptance criteria
- Callouts usable from plain Markdown
- Internal note links styled distinctly
- Explicit decision recorded if any element is dropped as clashing

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Notes collection and the design study outcome, since this work depends on both and may be dropped if it clashes with the chosen direction. Implement the accepted callouts, distinct internal note links, and any retained tag or graph treatment; record an explicit decision for each element that is dropped.
