Description

The \leavevmode@ifvmode is now in expansion of a number of LaTeX spacing macros. Perhaps it could be added to hyperref's pre-known things?

\documentclass{article}

\usepackage{hyperref}

\begin{document}
\section{An empty Python list: [\,]}
\end{document}
