Description
I’ve just installed Lapce 0.3.1 on Alpine Linux v3.19 with Sway/Wayland desktop and I see the same bug – border and shadows are transparent, seeing the desktop background through them.

(I split this out as a separate issue from the original as that was with the previous UI lib, while this is with floem)

Research direction
Reproduce Lapce 0.3.1 on Alpine Linux 3.19 with Sway/Wayland and observe the transparent borders and shadows. Start by tracing the floem rendering path for these effects; the issue is done when the desktop background is no longer visible through them.
