Greetings,
I'm running your Jupyter notebook Terazaghi example, attempting to reproduce your results shown in Fig. 2 of your paper. With t set to 10 hours, pore pressure reaches 1e-19 Pa with the parameters given in the notebook. I changed P0 to 10e6 (10MPa), as specified in Table 1, which results in pore pressure reaching 1e-20 Pa. As shown in Fig. 2, pore pressure should be 8 MPa at 5m at 10 hr. This will result when the coefficient of consolidation Cv is O(2e-4) with no modification of P0. However, your Cv is 0.3941 [m^2/s] based on eq. 18 and the given values in Table 1. Can you shed some light on this discrepancy? What values of Cv yield the results shown in Fig. 2, and from what parameter values are these Cv values derived?

Research direction
