Description

Make our JSON Index works like an index over a function applied to rows (json field extraction).

For example:

create index on foo using btree(data->'foo'->'bar')

It would be nice to get automatic support for btree/bitmap/labellist that way too.

The detailed format is TBD, maybe we can support JSON Path like btree(data, "$.foo.bar").

Research direction

Start by examining the existing JSON Index implementation and the current btree, bitmap, and labellist index entry points. Clarify the expression format, including whether JSON Path is supported, then define completion around applying those index types to functions such as JSON field extraction.
