Description

I'm not sure about whether vim-protocol should support zip:// or tra:// while these protocols require at least a small and simple filer which can navigate directory structure inside of zip, tar.
However current Vim's http:// or ftp:// does not support archive extraction even Vim support archive extraction via zip://, tar:// protocols.
So I guess this is a big chance to support multiple protocol such as opening remote zip file via :e http://foo/bar/hoge.zip.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how vim-protocol currently handles remote URLs and how Vim's existing zip:// and tar:// protocols navigate archive contents. Define the scope for supporting multiple protocols, including whether :e http://foo/bar/hoge.zip should open an archive, and document the expected behavior for zip:// and tra://.
