Description
(str (uri/map->URI {:scheme "http"
:host "host"
:path "path"}))
;=> "http://hostpath"
The / slash being missing between host and path is unexpected. I would have expected this to render as http://host/path instead.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the (uri/map->URI ...) expression from the issue and trace how the URI is rendered when a host and relative path are supplied. Done means the same input renders as http://host/path rather than http://hostpath; the issue does not name a file or test to run.
