Description
In consensus, the biggest container we hash is the beacon state, which contains a million validators, reaching 100s of MBs. We should add benchmarks comparing how we handle that case with other implementations.

Research direction
Start by locating the consensus code that hashes the beacon state and any existing benchmark entry points.
