Description

As our community continues to grow, it's important for us to establish clear and inclusive standards for participation. This issue proposes the addition of Community Standards to our repository to ensure that all members feel welcome and respected.

Some of the **Proposed Community Standards**:

**Respectful Communication**: Treat all members with kindness and respect in all interactions, including discussions, comments, and issue reports.
**Inclusive Language**: Use inclusive language that is welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
**Constructive Feedback**: Provide feedback in a constructive and helpful manner, focusing on ideas and contributions rather than individuals.
**No Tolerance for Harassment**: Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to discrimination, intimidation, or bullying, will not be tolerated.
**Collaborative Environment**: Foster a collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute and participate.

**Action Items**:

Create following files with community standards in the root of the repository.
Example below

Write and finalize the Community Standards content as outlined above.
Update the repository's README.md file to include a link to the Community Standards document.
Notify all existing contributors and members about the newly established Community Standards.

**Additional Context**:
The implementation of Community Standards aligns with our values of inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual respect. By formalizing these standards, we aim to create a more welcoming and supportive community for all members.

Research direction

Review the repository's README.md and the linked kubeslice community files first. Determine which root-level Community Standards document or documents are intended, then compare the requested standards and README link against the examples. Done means the standards content is finalized, linked from README.md, and the contributor-notification approach is clarified.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
