Description
The KF community relies on 2 channels:
- "main" channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kubeflow
used for release updates, conference talks recordings, etc.
- "community" channel: https://www.youtube.com/@KubeflowCommunity
meeting recordings, etc.
Currently, Kubeflow community has ownership of the latter, but still missing ownership of the main channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Kubeflow), making this complicated for instance to upload the Release 1.9 video on it.
We are receiving great help from @james-jwu , @zijianjoy, but ideally the community should be more autonomous.
The request tracked with this issue is to:
- have @thesuperzapper be granted permission to the main youtube channel,
- so to make sure the main channel is a branded account (i.e. can be managed by more people easily)
- so to extend the Editor permission as needed to @akgraner or myself (@tarilabs) when/as needed, for instance to upload the 1.9 release video, etc.
cc @andreyvelich @thesuperzapper @rimolive I'm going to follow-up on this during KF community meetings.

Research direction
Start with the main Kubeflow YouTube channel linked in the issue and compare its ownership with the community channel. Confirm that the requested permissions and branded-account management are in place, including the ability to grant editor access for uploads such as the 1.9 release video.
