### Your question
In the config, one can specify a logo to be displayed.
How can I make that log a so that it goes back to to the 'base url' ?
Is there an easy way to customize some of the base colors ?
Sure I can make a new theme, but that adds a lot of extra work just to have the left sidebar in another (light) color

Research direction
Start with the Scribe configuration and theme sections referenced by the question, then compare the current logo and color customization options in the documentation. Done means documenting or enabling a logo link to the base URL and a simpler way to adjust sidebar or base colors without creating a full theme.
