Description

The purpose of this project is to create an web-based educational game to explain "what is Knative Eventing?" at a high level. The target demographic for the game is novices and beginners to Knative. After playing the game, players should have an understanding of terms such as brokers, events, sources, sinks filters etc.

Tasks involved in the game involve:

- **Conceptual design of the game.** An initial codesign was conducted for this and the concept continues to be developed (found [here](https://www.figma.com/board/IEoEWURZ1qkmP9lRyRzr0S/Knative-Eventing-Game-Codesign?node-id=0-1&t=zNVAUqJC4Br9qJkF-0)). The current concept of the game is to create a puzzle game similar to the game [mini motorways](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1127500/Mini_Motorways/).
- **Visual design and Game Assets.** The game will have a simple 2D illustration style. An illustration style must be decided on. [Flat Style illustration](https://graphically.io/blog/all-you-need-to-know-about-flat-style-illustration/) could be an option.
- **Technical Implementation.** Godot engine will be used to develop the game.
- **Web Hosting.** The game should be lightweight enough to be hosted on the knative website and played as a browser game.

Research direction

Start with the linked Figma codesign board to understand the current game concept, then review the planned Godot implementation and browser-hosting constraints. Done means an illustrated educational puzzle game that teaches brokers, events, sources, sinks, and filters and can be played on the Knative website.
