Description

Similar to tracing commits, it would be interesting to be able to see (separately) how many people submit pull requests and how many people submit issues per month. These would be two different values.

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests; start by locating the existing commit-tracing implementation in the Java project. Determine where monthly activity is calculated and reported, then add separate monthly counts for pull-request submitters and issue submitters. Done means both values are visible independently for each month.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
