Local model download hangs at 5%.

**Describe the bug**
Transcription model download hangs at 5%. Cancelling and restarting the download has no effect. Trying to download a different model also hangs at 5%.
I also tried downloading the model manually and placing it in the models dir, but it does not detect it, and tries to download again

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Download Hex
2. Start initial setup and select model. Attempt download.
3. Revisit settings and try to download again

**Expected behavior**
Model downloads successfully and app becomes usable.

Start by reproducing the download during initial setup and from Settings on Hex 0.8.4, then inspect how the app handles the transcription model download and the models directory. Done means downloads complete successfully, manually placed models are detected, and the app becomes usable.
