Apple Handoff crashes Hex when Airpods move to Macbook

**Describe the bug**
I've had several crashes in the last week or 2, but this most recent one happened when I got home from taking our dog for a walk and my Airpods handed-off to my Macbook, probably because I have the _Super Fast Mode®_ enabled.

That promptly crashed Hex and produced an error report, which I submitted to Apple.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go on a walk with Airpods?
2. Have Handoff connect to Mac while Super Fast Mode on Hex is enabled
3. Witness

**Expected behavior**
Hex not to crash
