Description
**Describe the bug**
Coming from Apple's built-in transcription, I'm using to double-tapping ⌘ to start and stop the recording. But in Hex, I need to single-tap to stop. If I double-tap, it cancels and loses everything I said.
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Double-tap your modifier hotkey to start recording
2. Talk
3. Double-tap to end
4. See that nothing is pasted
**Expected behavior**
I expected it to paste the transcript of what I said.
**Desktop (please complete the following information):**
- M1 MacBook Air

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on macOS with the modifier hotkey: double-tap to start, speak, then double-tap to stop. Trace the recording stop and cancellation behavior, and consider the issue complete when a double-tap ends recording and pastes the resulting transcript instead of losing it.
