Description
I would like the option to transcribe directly to a file on disk, rather than into the current program or clipboard. This would primarily allow capturing quick, accurate voice notes - for reminders, spontaneous thoughts, etc.
My workflow when at home is to capture thoughts or things I need to remember as soon as they arise, without needing to break my current task or context. The lowest effort for this would be to hold a button on my keyboard, and dictate the reminder - and have it stashed away for later. I _could_ do this by switching windows to a scratchpad or notes, but this requires more actions - and may introduce other distractions.
I've written a version of this feature that I'm using locally: https://github.com/kitlangton/Hex/pull/188.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the locally used implementation in pull request #188 and compare it with the current transcription workflow. Done means the app can capture a dictated voice note directly to a file on disk without requiring a switch to another program or the clipboard.
