Error Handling

**Description**
The various plugins of the Mapping service do not handle errors uniformly. Each plugin notifies the user differently, while the "Thermofischer SEM TIFF to JSON" plugin does not provide any error notification at all—it only returns a JSON file with no values.

**Expected behavior**
All plugins should handle errors consistently. They can either return a file detailing the error or generate a modal displaying the error notification.
