Description

In some linux server, there are messy code (ESC[?...) when using VIM. And I found it is normal in other software like XSHELL.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. First reproduce the issue by using VIM through WindTerm on an affected Linux server and compare the terminal output with XSHELL; done means VIM displays normally without raw ESC sequences.
