$(arch) in WindTerm shell returns i386 on macOS with M1 chip

Description
On M1 Mac, under shell in WindTerm, the echo $(arch) command return i386. But it should be arm64, and in macOS Terminal.app, it did return arm64.
Any wrong configuration I need to change, or it is some bug in the software? Thanks.
