Can the file manager support adding local files?

Currently, the file manager can only display content in a single pane and does not allow adding local files. I hope the file manager could be enhanced to display two panes simultaneously—one showing the local directory/files and the other displaying the server’s directory/files.

No implementation files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the file manager implementation and understanding how its current single-pane view handles local and server directories.
