what's wrong with the copyng on selection ?

Why can't i select text in mc?
Why when i changing mode to "local" and now able to select text it doesn't copying to the clipboard even if the optin in setting copy on select is checked?
copy on select doesn't work even if i leave MC. Only shift+ins works.

Reproduce the problem in MC, comparing selection behavior in the default mode and in local mode with the “copy on select” setting enabled. Check whether copying works after leaving MC and whether Shift+Insert is the only successful path. Done means selected text reaches the system clipboard without requiring Shift+Insert.
