Can't type single or double quotation marks pressing space after.

In other ssh clients or terminals i can have single (') or double (") quotation marks by pressing their key and then space. In WindTerm i can only do it if i press it two times, but it outputs two quotation marks.

Start by reproducing the issue in WindTerm's terminal input: type a single or double quotation mark followed by space, then compare it with pressing the quotation key twice. Done means pressing the key followed by space produces one quotation mark, matching the behavior described for other terminals.
