Doesn't Create Database Entry

After trying this module I noticed that it doesn't create a database entry which then in turn breaks the site, is there a way of fixing this?

Start by reproducing the module behavior described in the issue and inspect where the expected database entry should be created. Trace the failure that breaks the site and identify the relevant module entry point. Done means the module creates the required entry and the site continues to work.
