Uncaught TypeError: object is not a function when registering.

I've seen issue #256 with the same error, but it looks like it was related to the command line and GPG.

I get this error in the browser when trying to join keybase. The button is greyed out and stuck on "Joining"

Browser is Chrome 35, there was no other trace information available.

EDIT: On second try it worked immediately and I'm registered successfully.

Start by reproducing the registration flow in Chrome 35 and inspect sitewide-js.js at line 42, where the TypeError is reported. Confirm whether the failure occurs while joining keybase and whether a retry consistently completes registration; done means the browser flow no longer gets stuck on “Joining”.
