Unable to signup with Icewasel

I can not sign up to keybase.io if using Icewasel on Debian. After entering Invitation code, E-mail address, username and passphrase, the submit button keeps saying "joining..." but nothing happens.

I had no problem when joining with Chromium, same PC, same network.

Start by reproducing the keybase.io signup flow in Iceweasel on Debian, using the same fields and invitation-code step described in the report, then compare it with Chromium on the same system. Done means the signup completes in Iceweasel or the browser-specific failure is isolated well enough to identify the affected part of the flow.
