I have been using Keybase for several years now to send encrypted chat messages to friends and family. However, since early December, I have not been able to send any messages using my computer running Windows 10 Home. I upgraded the computer to Windows 11 Pro and the Keybase chat function worked for about 6 hours, then stopped allowing me to send chats.

I can receive chats from others, I just can't send chats. This is the error message that I get:

"This message failed to send. Disconnected from the chat server. Retry or cancel."

I have uninstalled Keybase, reinstalled Keybase, rebooted my computer many times, upgraded the software on my computer, and upgraded the software for Keybase to the latest edition, and the problem continues.

I can still access my uploaded files and the files that others have uploaded for me to see. I can upload and download files.

I can still use the "crypto" to encrypt text and send it separately in an email outside of Keybase.

I can send and receive chat messages using my mobile device.

The only thing I cannot do is send chat messages on my computer.

Anyone know what is causing this issue and how I can fix it?
