Description
I have incorporated Keybase among my daily use tools to share information with the development teams in which I participate.
On my first time using the application on Ubuntu 22.04, I downloaded the client and had immediate access after registering a username.
However the username was not associated to an email or phone number, I did not have to set up a password to start using the software. I simply had it installed on my computer.
A few days ago I lost my laptop, and after acquiring a new one it was not possible to recover my Keybase account.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the account-creation and account-recovery flows for Keybase on Ubuntu 22.04. The issue names no files, tests, or code entry points; done would mean determining whether an account created without email, phone, or password can be recovered after losing the original laptop.
