Keybase stopped switching to the client's desktop space on MacOS a few releases ago

I am working with several spaces / desktops in MacOS "Mission Control". The Keybase client used to change the active space/desktop to the one where the Keybase client is located when selecting any chat from the Keybase menu in the MacOS menu bar on top. Unfortunately Keybase stopped doing that a few releases ago.

Currently when I am on desktop X and Keybase is on desktop Z and I select a chat in the Keybase menu popup nothing happens... I need to manually switch desktops/spaces to the one with Keybase. I think this is some regression or change in MacOS APIs.

Would be wonderful to have that behavior restored where Keybase automatically goes to the right desktop/space on which it is located.

Noticed same behavior on several devices with several MacOS versions.

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. First reproduce the issue by opening a chat from the Keybase menu-bar popup while Keybase is in another macOS Mission Control space, then investigate the desktop-space switching behavior. Done means selecting a chat returns focus to the space containing Keybase on the reported macOS versions.
