Description
When creating a channel, a name like my-cool-channel is valid. However, if you create such a channel, and then edit it, the text box will remove the hypens and refuse to accept hyphens as an input (e.g. my-cool-channel becomes mycoolchannel and does not allow hyphens to be added).
The create and edit dialogs should have the same behavior.
I get this same bug on Ubuntu and Android

Research direction
Reproduce the channel-name behavior in the create and edit dialogs on Ubuntu and Android. Compare how my-cool-channel is handled in each flow; done means the edit dialog preserves existing hyphens and accepts new hyphens consistently with channel creation.
