Description

Once playing a video in chat (mp4, etc) in Windows 10 client play/pause button on usb devices continues to control playback of that video until app is completely closed. I've tried closing window, changing chat, and re-opening my other music player. Is there a way to disable Keybase from using my media keys entirely?

It looks like changing to something other than chat also releases it, But that's not exactly ideal, and I use this app 99% for chat,

Research direction

Reproduce the media-key behavior in the Windows 10 client by playing an MP4 in chat, closing or changing the chat, and controlling another music player. Trace the client’s media-key handling and video playback entry points; done means leaving the video or chat no longer leaves Keybase controlling the USB media buttons, or the intended disable behavior is documented.
