Username created in DB before signup completion

**OS:** Kali GNU/Linux 2020.2

Regarding the Signup flow:

1. inserting username
2. setting device id

?. If your clock/region are out of sync, seems like the user will be created in the DB so when the clock/region is fixed you aren't able to signup with the same username cause it will prompt that the username already exists.

Are you guys aware of the bug? any workaround?

No source file or test is identified. Start by tracing the Signup flow from username insertion through device ID setup, then reproduce it with the clock or region out of sync. Done means the failure can be reproduced and a failed signup does not prevent a later retry with the same username.
