Keybase GUI stops responding when switching i3wm workspaces

I started using `i3wm` recently. I then launched Keybase by using dmenu and using the `run_keybase` command. This starts the window and it works fine for a bit. However, after switching workspaces a few times, the window stops rendering and showing contents. I then attempt to kill the applicaiton with `$mod+shift+q`, the i3wm default and it takes a while to die.

I know this is a niche/edge case, but I wanted to get this out there.

This is on Fedora 32 Workstation.

Start by reproducing the issue on Fedora 32 with Keybase 5.5.1-2020052720541+39ca0071e5, launched with run_keybase under i3wm. Switch workspaces repeatedly and observe whether the window stops rendering and becomes slow to terminate. Done means the Keybase window remains responsive and exits normally after these workspace switches.
