Chat URL / No Connection

Recently, I got the message in keybase, that anyone could chat with me, using the provided URL (in my case https://keybase.io/cslotty/chat)

I tried this on a Windows VM - entered the URL, installed keybase, keybase would open after the installation and request that I register as a user. As this is not what I expect from "anyone can chat with you using the URL", I closed keybase, reloaded the URL and yes - now keybase opens without a registering request.

All the chat windows then says is: "Loading....", but nothing else happens.


Could this be an actual, technical connectivity issue? I don't have any restrictions on that VM.

Or is this intended behaviour, or mayb a bug?

Reproduce the Windows VM flow from https://keybase.io/cslotty/chat, including the first launch after installing keybase, and observe the persistent “Loading....” state. Compare the behavior with the report to determine whether this is an intended registration flow or a connectivity bug; done means the expected chat behavior or a confirmed connection failure is documented.
