Description

This is technically trivial, but a user interface PITA, and appropriately, probably easy to fix.

I broke website proofs doing some work and needed to create new proofs. I'd set them up years ago and forgot where the associated knobs and dials were located.

They are of course located in "View/Edit profile" in the main app, the pulldown by my avatar.

There is no mention of this mechanism in any documentation nor help page that I could find. Searching for any combination of words "website identity proof" return no results.

The emailed error message says "website proof broke", so that's what I was searching for, but in the main app's View/Edit profile the mechanism calls it "add identity". Inconsistent naming.

That's all! Nothing serious! Just one of those things... thanks all for the great code.

There is no mention of website proofs to be found in help or online documentation.

Research direction

Start with the help and online documentation, then inspect View/Edit profile under the avatar and its “add identity” wording. Document how users manage website proofs and make the terminology searchable for the “website proof broke” error; done means the feature and its location are covered consistently.
