Keybase business model

Hello,

I discovered Keybase a few months ago and I am really enthusiastic about the project and the functionalities it offers to its users.

Because Keybase if free and displays no adds, I was curious to discover its business model. It was hard to find, but a clear statement appears on https://keybase.io/docs/kbfs so I had quite a few answers to my questions. I also was able to read this (old) thread on github : https://github.com/keybase/keybase-issues/issues/788

If keybase is “not trying to make money”, how does it cover its costs nowadays ? It has been running for more than 5 years now !

On Keybase website, 4 job offers appear. The file systems offers an impressive amount of 250GB… Even if the project started as personal, there seems to be a lot of changes about it.

Keybase speaks about " “customers” will be organizations with many users and/or individuals who want disproportionate resources."

Is this the case today? Is there any changes to come in the business model ?
