Chat crashing client after account reset

Hello team,

## how to replicate
Alice creates account.
Follows Bob. Bob Follows Alice.
Alice resets account.
Alice tries to chat with Bob on app
App crashes (I think both macos and iOS)

Pretty easy to replicate from my side.

## Bob resolves the bug by approving his side

Reproduce the sequence on macOS and iOS: create Alice and Bob, follow each other, reset Alice's account, then have Alice open a chat with Bob. Compare the behavior before and after Bob approves his side; done means the chat no longer crashes after the reset and the reported flow is covered by verification.
