chat msg dissapear, come out as exploted

every time for the last 5-6 months I type something on my computer, and leave to work open the app in another computer ALL msg's are unreadable, even my own!!! I been wanting to report this for a long time and I just keep waiting see if it gets fixed, but today I missed important information and I can't take it anymore, this is how it goes:
- chat on PC app
- leave to work open in work computer the app and everything is ERASED even if I have channel set to 30 days deletion and 7 days for my own posts..
- open android app same crap

this is VERY frustrating... I have to wait 8 hours to get home and see the responses to my questions on the chat? .... no good.
Is this something you guys looking to fix or should we move our community to matrix?

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Reproduce the report by sending messages on the PC app, opening the app on another computer, and checking the Android app with the stated 30-day channel and 7-day own-post deletion settings. Done means messages remain readable across these clients according to those retention settings.
