Subscribe to filesystem events (upload, change, delete, ...)

The compact window of the Keybase application shows recent filesystem event such as new uploads, deletions and such. How do I subscribe to these events? Where and how are they emitted?
A general event feed with all type of events would work for me to, I will simply filter them.
