IOS App - pressing back from one of the onboarding messages logs me out.

I tapped on one of the onboarding notifications that show on the top of the landing page. (I thiiink it was the team publicity settings).
I then pressed on the little back arrow on the top left and it took me all the way out to the log in screen.

I quit the app, started it up and I was logged in again.

Start by reproducing the iOS flow: open an onboarding notification from the landing page, then use the top-left back arrow. Trace why this returns to the login screen; done means the back action returns to the landing page and quitting and reopening the app does not require logging in again.
