Description
Currently the Keybase client won't let you disable the `#general` chat channel for teams. You **can** disable the `#general` channel for _**sub-teams**_ (although there is an issue with that too; see #3076), but for parent teams (or teams without any sub-teams) you can't disable `#general`. I tried clicking on the checkbox next to `#general` to disable it, but nothing happened (the checkbox will not uncheck). I tried completely quitting the Keybase client and restarting it, but I still couldn't disable the `#general` chat channel for any of my teams (not counting sub-teams).
Please fix this bug so that clicking on the checkbox next to `#general` in the manage teams window successfully disables the `#general` chat channel for that team. Thanks.
**UPDATE:** I just discovered that you **can** disable the `#general` chat channel for a team from the iPhone Keybase mobile app, just not from the Windows desktop Keybase client. If you disable `#general` from the mobile app, the change does get reflected in the desktop client. Once disabled from the mobile app, you can **re-enable** the `#general` channel from the desktop client. However, even after you re-enable it from the desktop client, you still can't disable it again from the desktop client (you have to use the mobile app again).

Research direction
Start with the Windows desktop Keybase client's manage teams window and the checkbox next to the #general channel for a parent team or a team without sub-teams. Done means clicking that checkbox disables #general successfully in the desktop client, including after re-enabling it.
