android app login issues

There doesn't seem to be a way to login using the command line client rather than the gui app.

The command line client asks for a text code from the mobile phone, but the mobile phone asks for a text code from the the already logged in device. The desktop gui client seems to provide a text code properly for this.

My command line client is:

Start by reproducing the login flow with the command line client and mobile phone using Keybase version 1.0.22, then compare it with the GUI client's text-code flow. The work is done when command-line login no longer requires a code from an already logged-in device and the authentication sequence is clear.
