Description
Hello
While testing kbfs I accessed Chris Coynes' public folder and subsequently got a popup stating I had done so, and that the popup would appear every time I accessed that folder.
I then set Chris' folder as "ignored" to prevent the pop up, but a few hours later the ignore setting is lost and I get another popup. I have done the same 3 or 4 times now and the ignore setting simply does not stick.
2 issues:
1. Why does the setting not stick? Is this a known issue?
2. Irrespective - even if I didn't want to set Chris' folder as 'ignored' I really don't want to see a popup every time I access it. That's going to become annoying real fast. Could this be made optional?
BTW: Am running the MacOS Client on Sierra (10.12.3)

Research direction
Start by reproducing the ignored-folder behavior in the macOS client on the Sierra setup described, then trace where the ignore setting is persisted and where the access popup is triggered. Done means the ignored state survives repeated access and the popup behavior can be made optional as requested.
