Description

I've tried several approaches but none worked.

If I use `keybase --proxy [http://my_proxy_ip:8080] id idm` this will timeout.

Note that this is a proxy that does not require authentication.

Furthermore, I don't imagine this would help with kbfs so I expect having to modify the configuration file.

Questions:
1. Does KBFS work through a http proxy?
2. Would you recommend using a TOR proxy over a http proxy?
3. What kind of configuration should I put in the configuration file?

Cheers

Research direction

Start by reviewing the issue's reported proxy command and its questions about KBFS, HTTP proxies, TOR, and configuration files. Done would require a maintainer-confirmed answer about support and configuration, or a defined implementation scope for proxy support.
