Description

Y'all --

I'm trying to add an exiting pgp key, but I'm getting the error above when I try to sign my private key in the browser. I see there was a bug on this previously which was reported as fixed, but I still see this as a problem. I've double checked the key status in kleopatra, and it all looks correct to me, so...

Any ideas?

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reproducing the browser error while signing an existing PGP key, then trace the signing flow and compare the key status reported by Kleopatra; done means the reported key can be signed successfully or the failure has a documented, actionable cause.
