Description

Hey folks

Installed 1.0.16 on a Windows 10 64 machine with an existing 1.0.15 version and after rebooting all is well - KBFS mounted and accessible, icon in system tray working fine.

Installed the same version on a Windows 7 64 machine that never had keybase installed before. Adding the machine worked fine and the KBFS seems mounted. However even after a reboot there's no icon in the system tray and when going into any KBFS folder Explorer just stays there with the green status bar going with nothing happening.

Is there anything that needs to be done to correct add this to startup on this fresh machine?

Research direction

Reproduce the fresh-install case on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine, then inspect the installer startup behavior, system-tray integration, and KBFS access through Explorer. Compare it with the existing-install case on Windows 10. Done means the client starts after reboot with its tray icon and KBFS folders open normally.
