Description
I wanted to try out kbstage but unfortunately, I can neither id someone or login.
If I run kbstage id guerda, this message comes up:
$ kbstage id guerda
▶ WARNING Running in staging mode
▶ WARNING {unix://@} Reply error for 1: disconnected; no connection to remote
▶ WARNING {unix://@} Reply error for 1: disconnected; no connection to remote
▶ ERROR API network error: Get https://stage0.keybase.io/_/api/1.0/sig/hints.json?low=4&uid=ef16d21dfca836abbc431fd4a6dc4e00: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers) (error 1601)
If I then open the shown URL, the result comes back fine.
My system is Fedora 22 x64, kbstage 1.0.0-27

Research direction
Reproduce the failure with the reported `kbstage id guerda` command on Fedora 22 and compare it with opening the displayed `hints.json` URL directly. Investigate the timeout while waiting for the API response and verify that staging identity and login requests complete without the reported network error.
