Description

I tried to send a message via the redirect adress @keybase.io , but it didnt encrypt the email.
What I have understand, end users who cannot, for some reason, use PGP, should be able to send to the @keybase.io, to have the keybase servers to encrypt the mail and pass it on.

For additional security, the keybase.io SMTP server could enforce mandatory TLS/SSL encryption when it acts as a server (receives a mail from a Another SMTP server). This will ensure the mail stay encrypted from end to end.

Research direction

Start by tracing the @keybase.io redirect mail flow and the SMTP server's handling of incoming connections. Confirm what encryption behavior is supported and define done as messages being encrypted as intended, with the proposed TLS requirement separately clarified; the issue names no files or tests.
