Description

I have an https server running on port 8443. I wanted to get it verified using the hosted file method, but alternate ports are not supported for that. The input is not validated and the button to submit it remains disabled.

Research direction

The issue mentions only the hosted-file verification flow and an HTTPS server on port 8443; no repository file, test, or entry point is identified. Trace that flow first, then define done as accepting and submitting an alternate port such as 8443 with appropriate validation.
