Description

BIP32 HD Bitcoin addresses allow someone to share a fixed "address" to receive Bitcoin payments that will automatically use a unique "actual" Bitcoin address to receive the funds. CoinKite's new "Nyms" service (which is similar to Keybase) implements this feature: http://blog.coinkite.com/post/97057447171/nyms-anon-personas-and-payment-pages-for-all

This feature is an ideal fit for Keybase, as it allows transaction privacy without needing to update one's Bitcoin address that's on file with Keybase constantly.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the BIP32 proposal and the CoinKite Nyms reference linked in the issue, then locate any Bitcoin address or payment integration in the repository. Clarify the intended Keybase behavior and acceptance criteria before implementation; done means HD-derived receiving addresses work without repeatedly updating the stored address.
